Mike brings nearly 30 years of experience in commercial property to his role as Director of MWM. Originally from the UK, he began his career as a research analyst at IPD (now MSCI – Morgan Stanley Capital International) before qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) in 1998. He went on to hold valuation roles with leading international firms Knight Frank and CBRE in London.
In 2004, Mike relocated to New Zealand, where he spent almost 16 years with Wallace Development Company, eventually serving as National Development Manager. During this time, he was responsible for delivering turn-key property solutions for a broad range of national and international clients, including BP, ASB Bank, Kmart, Fulton Hogan, Ministry of Education, and many others.
In 2021, Mike established MWM, launching with the seismic strengthening and refurbishment of a prominent commercial building in Napier for Willis Legal. Since then, MWM has steadily expanded its portfolio and partnerships, with completed and upcoming projects including commercial buildings across Napier, a new medical centre in Marewa, and a mixed-use development in Hastings.
With a strong track record, trusted relationships, and a commitment to quality and long-term value, Mike continues to shape successful commercial property ventures throughout Hawke’s Bay and beyond.
